Meet Suzanne, your hostess at 29onTait. Suzanne renovated the derelict old 29 Tait Street house together with her husband over the course of four years. She has been running it full-time since 2014. She is an artist with a B.A.(Hons) in Fine Arts from the University of the Free State. Through the guest house Suzanne is able to connect with her love for art and people.
The guesthouse is situated in one of Pretoria’s oldest and most historic suburbs. We are close to the Union Buildings, the main access routes, hospitals and embassies.
The University of Pretoria, Afrikaans Girls’ and Boys’ High School, as well as Pretoria Boys’ High and Girls’ High, Loftus, the Innovation Hub, The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), the Urology Hospital, most Governmental Departments and shopping centers like Hatfield, Brooklyn and Menlyn are all close by. The guesthouse is in close proximity to all these amenities and more. Thus, we offer the perfect location for business and leisure travelers. We offer affordable accommodation for all wishing to visit Hatfield.
The Hatfield Gautrain Station is within walking distance from the guesthouse, and we offer our guests a free shuttle service to and from the guesthouse.
We also cater for groups of up to 24 people and our specialties include baby showers, kitchen teas, special birthday celebrations, wedding anniversaries, conferences, etc. We also offer affordable accommodation for such events in Hatfield. Our rooms are all unique, including 6 en-suite rooms and 2 self-catering rooms. We have a room to suit your personality or preference.
